Located in the heart of the main campus, Montgomery Library provides a wealth of resources for students, faculty, and staff, including access to books, e-books, and electronic journals. The Library building houses physical resources, study areas, library offices, and the Cheatham Center for Teaching and Learning. The front of the building is dedicated to the Bright-Redmon Commons, which includes a computer lab and the Books n Beans coffee snack bar.

Join Dr. Rev. Andrew Baskin, Professor Emeritus of African and African American Studies at Berea College and 2023 National Association of Black Storytellers Fellowship recipient, for his lecture is titled, "Dorothy Mitchell-Kincaid: The Conscience of the 13 Streets of Alcoa, Tennessee".
Who is Dorothy Mitchell-Kincaid?
This lecture analyzes the life of the late Dorothy Mitchell-Kincaid. After being diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer, Ms. Mitchell-Kincaid created the Beloved Community to help Blount County, TN residents deal with the impact of chronic illnesses. Her story is the story of what African Americans can accomplish even when they confront racism, sexism, and colorism.

Taylor County Public Library, in collaboration with Campbellsville University, is hosting a year-long 250th anniversary lecture series celebrating U.S. independence. Each month features a free public program highlighting national, Kentucky, or Taylor County history.
Join us Friday, April 24 for our next lecture, "The Battle of Tebbs Bend" with Morehead State University senior, Taylor Bishop, from 6-7 PM, at Campbellsville University's Montgomery Library.
