Dr. Ashlee Matney, Professor of Mathematics and current Chair of the Department of Mathematics, has been named Dean of the new School of Humanities and Sciences.

Join us in congratulating Dr. Ashlee Matney on her promotions to Professor of Mathematics and Dean of the School of Humanities and Sciences!

Dr. Matney has been a faculty member in the Campbellsville University Mathematics Department for 17 years, serving as Chair of the Department for the past 4 years. She will be stepping down as Chair to assume the Dean position this summer.

Join us in congratulating Mrs. Debbie Pierce, Instructor of Mathematics, on receiving the 2026 OLFY (Online Faculty of the Year) award!

In addition to teaching in-person and online, Mrs. Pierce has worked with course re-designs, recording lectures, updating notes and assignments, and clarifying online course format for better student experiences. Beyond the teaching aspects, Mrs. Pierce serves as the “go-to” person in the department for online needs. Her knowledge and expertise are a great asset to the math department faculty and students, as well as the University as a whole.
