Our mission is to help children become well rounded individuals and understand the value of spiritual reflection, leadership, and communication. Camp Thrive’s mission is to spark the imagination of all children in a spiritually rich, creative, and sustainable environment. Our summer camp program focuses on Communication (brainstorming, leadership, journaling), Recreation, Spiritual Reflection, and

Technology (cloud computing, digital photography, website, blog). We offer a unique, safe, and creative environment in which self-directed learning is encouraged and allows an atmosphere for children to learn and grow. Our professional and caring staff is here to serve their needs by reading stories, working on group projects, or playing an outdoor game. The philosophy and the Camp Thrive way emphasizes community, group play, and friendships. The atmosphere encourages children to make new discoveries and to learn about the world around them in a safe environment. Exploring nature, making friendships, fostering the arts, sports, and social growth are activities and skills that we emphasize. Each week many activities and projects are based on a theme. We strive to create a community that is cooperative, supportive, and positive. Camp Thrive hours of operation will be Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. There will be am/pm extended care available. Sign-ups will begin in March and will include an optional Fall, Winter, and Spring workshop for children and parents. Children will have the opportunity to learn new skills and work in mixed age groups (7 years old - 14 years old).
