Parents expect stories about robots, games, and exciting projects.

What often surprises them are the stories about friendships.

The confidence to speak up during a team challenge.

The excitement of working alongside peers who share similar interests.

The pride that comes from overcoming obstacles and trying something new.

Long after the robots are packed away and the projects come home, many families realize the biggest takeaway wasn't something that fit in a backpack. It was the confidence. The friendships. The feeling of finally finding people who get you.

Those are the moments campers carry with them long after summer is over.

Right now, somewhere at an iD Tech camp...

A camper is testing a BattleBot® for the first time.

A team is celebrating after finally solving a challenge.

A friendship is forming over a shared interest.

A camper is discovering they're capable of more than they thought.

And it's happening not just at one camp, but across 70+ campuses nationwide.

These photos are a glimpse into thousands of moments happening this summer. Some are about robots, games, and technology.

The ones campers remember most are often about the people they met and the confidence they gained along the way.

You hear "tech camp" and probably picture kids sitting quietly behind computers all day.

Then you get here.

Turns out it's robot battles, games outside, inside jokes by Tuesday, cheering each other on, and somehow making friends over things like coding and engineering.

The tech is what brings everyone together.
