Energizing. Creative. Great. Those are the words of CSI teachers describing their continuing work with Stanford's d.School as they used design thinking to bring design thinking to CSI students.

CSI is growing! We're adding 5th grade for 2019-20, and to prepare for the new school year, our campus will undergo more improvements over the summer: "Midtown" building (B Wing), the "D Studio", the office/staff room, and the "Think Tank" (media center) will all get renovations. Bright and built for collaboration and innovation--like our students!

Final days to request CSI for your child! Now accepting enrollment for grades Tk through 5th.

Living Classroom brings learning to life!

Living Classroom news for :

Wow, what an amazing first semester Living Classroom has had in the Campbell-Union School District! Thank you to all the teachers, administrators, and docents that have used and supported our program. We have had the pleasure of teaching 151 lessons to TK-3rd graders throughout the district. It has been so fun to get to know you and your students and to learn (and play!) in the garden. We are looking forward to the winter session lessons beginning in January. We will be eating every part of a plant, becoming dirt detectives and soil explorers, harvesting vegetables and making vegetable soup, and learning about why the worm really is MIGHTY! We simply can't wait. Have a wonderful break, and we will see you in the New Year!!!

Update on Schools Response to Poor Air Quality Based on guidance from Santa Clara County Public Health, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Centers for Disease Control (CDC), we have elected to use a threshold of a 275 air quality index (AQI) to determine when to close our schools. Campbell School of Innovation dedication is Wed., Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. Right after that, at 6:30, CSI parents and guardians will participate in Back-to-School Night to learn more about how their children are becoming design thinkers and problem solvers. Campbell Union School District (official)
