π Congratulations to our 8th grade graduates!
These students are prepared to be lifelong learners and world-changers for Jesus Christ. We are going to miss them, but we know that they are headed to high school with a strong academic, spiritual, and social foundation.

π Fireflies are off to JK and Kindergarten next year!
What a special morning recognizing SJCS's preschool graduates. Our young tigers led the ceremony with prayers, the pledge, songs, and a time sharing how God is at work in their hearts.
These graduates know they are loved by God, and we cannot wait to see them continue to grow in their gifts and in their faith!

Throwback to 2016! Some of these students have been with us for over a decade. As we prepare to see these 8th graders graduate next week, take a walk with us down memory lane.
Who else thinks we need to recreate some of these photos?

π Bravo, again, to our talented theater students! Here are photos from Night 2 of "Like, No Way Am I Doing A Musical." If you didn't know, our theater students were split into two casts which switched between tech and acting each night. This gave everyone the opportunity to grow in their skills in both areas.
We are so proud of the hard work and energy put into this show and into theater this year. It fills us with joy to see our students growing as effective communicators and responsible stewards of the gifts God has given them.

πΊ "Like No Way Am I Doing A Musical" Night 1
Middle School Theater put on a melodrama that was totally tubular, dudes. Not only did they do a radical job performing last week, but they also wrote the script and ran tech during the show. This show was epic!

π Go Tigers! Girls Volleyball took 1st place in the South Division and 3rd place at the BACSAL Tournament last weekend.
This marks the 4th time our girls team placed in the top 3 at BACSAL in the 2025-26 school year. Amazing work indeed! Thank you to our wonderful coaches, team parents, drivers, and parents for your support of these girls. Our athletics program does not run without you.

πΆπ³ Concert on the Green returned this year!
Every SJCS ensemble had a chance to perform, and we are proud of all our young musicians! From our 4th grade recorder ensemble and 5th grade band, both of which started their instruments for the first time this year, to our 8th grade band students who just played in their last spring concert. It is enjoyable to see all of your growth.
Middle school concert band and jazz band were also outstanding, sharing more complex pieces with us and showing our younger musicians what is in store. AND, it was a joy to have our choir perform again. This year's Tiger Choir Club has been a great success and we hope to continue hearing vocal music back on campus.
Thank you to Mr. Plares, Ms. Miller, and Ms. Baham for all your work with these students this year. It is because of you that they are growing in confidence and honing their gifts.

π The Banana Slug Club grew by 23 this year after our 5th graders attended their overnight field trip to Mission Springs.
Students had a week of hands-on science experiences, directly engaging with God's incredible creation. They also had several team-building activities and practiced Faith over Fear with rock climbing and handling animals like chickens and squid (don't worry, the squid were not alive!)
At SJCS, it is our mission to advance the Kingdom of God through responsible stewardship over all creation including the environment. We love this field trip because it gives students an understanding of how to responsibly engage and transform our world for Christ.
Thank you for a great experience again this year!

π Archiving the 8th grade class's capstone experience to our nation's capital.
Before they graduate and head out into this world, the 8th graders had the chance to head from coast to coast for a final class field trip. What an incredible real-world experience as they trekked all over the city, took the metro, packed meals for those in need, spoke with military veterans, and interacted with so much history.
This trip offers students the chance to put into practice everything they have learned as lifelong learners and world-changers for Christ's kingdom.
Thanks to , the Walk-A-Thon, our 8th grade parents, and wonderful chaperones for making this experience possible for our students.
