My mother didn't believe much in the idea of sin. We’re human, we make mistakes, and those mistakes can become some of our greatest teachers. What matters is that we learn, grow, and keep working toward becoming better versions of ourselves.

But if there was one thing she believed could truly pull us away from spiritual growth, it was greed. And even though this video is decades old, that message feels incredibly relevant today.

We live in a world built around more: more money, more things, more success, more convenience, more instant gratification. There’s nothing inherently wrong with wanting to prosper, but when having more becomes more important than who we are, how we treat people, or what we give back, we lose sight of what really matters.

The goal was never to have nothing. It was to not let what we have become more important than who we are.
