My mother, Sylvia Browne, always believed that psychic hotlines were created for entertainment, not genuine guidance. No matter how lucrative the offer, she wasn't willing to put her name behind something she didn't believe truly helped people.

At the time, we didn't have much, and the money would have changed our lives. But for her, integrity mattered more than a paycheck.

Your guide is not a friend or family in this life who has passed on and suddenly becomes your guide. That is why this woman didn't recognize the names when I said them.

But your guide may be someone that you have lived other a past lives with. A guide is with you from the very beginning of this lifetime and they are with you for the full stretch.

Imagine your soul like a record.

Each groove contains the experiences, lessons, relationships, and growth from a different lifetime. When you incarnate, you're not starting from scratch. You're adding another track to the collection.

Some grooves hold joy. Some hold heartbreak. Some hold wisdom that took multiple lifetimes to earn.

And while you may not consciously remember every life you've lived, your soul carries the imprint of every experience.

The record keeps spinning, and with each lifetime, the song becomes a little richer.

Your life has a theme. In fact, it likely has several.

The challenges, relationships, and patterns that keep showing up aren't always random. They can be clues to the lessons your soul came here to learn.

My mother, Sylvia Browne, used to always joke, "If your purse if missing I can find it. But if mine is missing, it's gone." That's because reading your own self as a psychic is almost impossible.

The truth is, intuition doesn't disappear when it's your own life. You still get feelings, nudges, and inner knowing. But reading for yourself is different than reading for someone else. When we're reading for clients, we're stepping beyond ordinary intuition into a psychic sense that isn't tangled up in our personal hopes, fears, expectations, and attachments.

The challenge is that ego and emotion have a front-row seat in our own lives. We want certain outcomes. We worry about others. We carry memories, desires, and assumptions. All of that can cloud what we're seeing and make it harder to separate a genuine psychic impression from what we hope is true.

That's why even experienced psychics can struggle with their own situations. The information may still be there, but personal involvement can make the signal a lot harder to hear clearly.

What would a rock or a tree learn? What would be the point of returning to life as another species if we are here for experience?

Astral projection can open the door to profound experiences and deep inner knowledge, but it was never meant to be an escape from reality or life itself. I know this personally, I used to do it constantly as a child, and so did my daughter when she was young.

What I’ve learned is that any experience that pulls you inward is meant to strengthen how you show up here, not replace it.
