Join our German immersion summer camp where we will be offering:
Art class (1st grade +) with painting, drawing and mixed media
Textile arts class (4th grade +) with sewing, knitting and embroidery

July 13th - 17th and/or July 20th - 24th
10 am - 3 pm
(with extended care available upon request from 9 am - 10 am and/or 3 pm - 4pm)
Student in Grades 1 - 8 with no prior German experience

Quakes German Night – May 9, 2026

Get ready for a special night of soccer at the Quakes German Heritage Night on May 9, 2026, hosted by the San Jose Earthquakes with Timo Werner at the vibrant PayPal Park in San Jose. Kick-off against the Vancouver Whitecaps with Thomas Mueller is at 7:30 pm sharp.

Do you know and care about the high level Tests and prep classes at our school (AATG, German AP, Deutsches Sprachdiplom)?

Please join us on Saturday February 7th at 11:15am in the Auditorium. We will present and talk about the importance, benefits and student path to these exams, and give you the latest updates. Frohes neues Jahr! Glad to see everyone after the Christmas break!
Here are a few photos of our Christmas Party. Thank you to everyone who came and especially to all the volunteers for making it another great community event.

Come join us on Saturday, December 6th at 2pm for a fun German-style Christmas celebration!
We’ll be enjoying “Kaffee und Kuchen” (hot drinks, Stollen, and Christmas cookies), listening to German Christmas songs, and watching performances by our students. It’s a fun tradition that we all look forward to each year!

Our St. Martin's Fest is just around the corner!

Join us NEXT Saturday November 8th from 6 PM to 9 PM for an evening filled with singing, a lampion parade, warm drinks, and snacks.

This is a special event open to everyone in the SBDS community – students, parents, board members, friends, and supporters!

We need your help to make this event a true celebration! Food donations are still well below what we need, so in the spirit of St. Martin, we kindly ask everyone to consider bringing a dish to share. Your contributions will ensure there’s enough for everyone to enjoy.
