A huge thank you to the Humane Society Silicon Valley for coming out to visit and share such a wonderful presentation with our students! And of course, these adorable puppies were the sweetest part. They’ll be available for adoption or fostering in just a week!

"On behalf of HSSV, I wanted to take a moment to extend a huge thank you to Old Orchard Middle School - you can imagine our excitement as we opened the envelope of donations accompanied by your beautiful letter. Not only is it an honor to be selected by your Student Council, but the results were amazing at over $7.2k.

What an incredible impact your students made with their dedication to the Walk-a-Thon and clearly amazing effort with the distance they ran/walked - each step increasing the donations to support our mission driven work. HSSV's mission is to save lives, keep families together, and create a better future for pets and their people. We achieve this through the support of community members such as your students and families. Your support of HSSV made a lot of tails start wagging!"

Old Orchard School proudly celebrated the graduates of its 46th graduating class. It was a memorable day filled with pride, reflection, laughter, and celebration as we honored our students and all they have accomplished during their time at OOS.

This year also marked the passing of the torch from our longtime Head of School, Bonnie Weston. We wish Bonnie all the best as she begins this next chapter. Since taking over for her mother, founder Dannie Weston, Bonnie has been the heart of OOS, dedicating herself to generations of students and families both on and off campus. Her leadership, kindness, and unwavering commitment to our community have shaped the school in countless ways and leave a legacy that will be felt for years to come.

While we know we'll still see Bonnie around campus—her second home—she will be greatly missed in her role. As another wonderful school year comes to a close, we already miss our school community. We wish everyone an adventurous, restful, and joy-filled summer and look forward to welcoming new and familiar faces back in August.
