I was so happy to spend the morning at “La Tía Carmela” preschool singing, reading, and sharing something very special with the children 💛

I had the joy of reading their first book, “La Tía Carmela” and singing a song I composed just for them… “Gracias, tía Carmela, por mi nido, por mi escuela, gracias a tu cariño, somos felices los niños”

We laughed together with puppets, sang with our whole hearts, and created a moment full of love, music, and imagination.

These are the moments that remind me why I do what I do ❤️🎵❤️

There is something so special about coming back to what you love… 🎶

After some time away, today I stood in front of a microphone again, guitar in hand, heart wide open… and I felt it.
That spark. That joy. That me.

Working on different projects now, bringing together music, children, imagination, and everything I have poured my heart into for years.

And I just feel… deeply grateful.
Grateful for life.
Grateful for music.
Grateful for the chance to begin again.

Music has always been my way of connecting, of healing, of teaching… and I’m so excited to share what’s coming next 💛

“THE ONLY THING MORE POWERFUL THAN HATE IS LOVE” ❤️… ¡bravo! ¡bravo! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Yesterday I was deeply moved by a reminder that emotions are powerful, and that what we pass on to the next generation matters.

For over two decades, I’ve taught Spanish to children in the U.S. with one goal in mind: to raise open-hearted humans who learn to communicate with empathy and joy.

Music, language, and culture have always been bridges, not walls

Rehearsed this weekend with like we did over 25 yrs. ago with ❤️ at Tutu Marambá. My heart is more than ready for today.

We are performing with beloved friends and their children for , an organization that supports children and families in vulnerable situations with so much care and love.

Being able to share music, laughter, and connection today fills me with gratitude beyond words.

✨ I’ve always admired the great Mercedes Sosa .sosaok 🌻Here’s a little piece of La Cigarra (The Cicada) from a few years ago, and maybe a few pounds less 🙈

This song hits deep. I feel it in my soul.
COVID was a storm in so many ways… facing so much change, then losing my father, and learning to start again. But like La Cigarra, I keep singing.

Grateful for the hard times that shaped me, that made me resilient, and for the music that keeps me alive — and for the heart of Let’s Play in Spanish which is to sing for the little ones who remind us every day to rise, shine, and sing again. 💛🎶
