Obama Scholars program
We appreciate your continued partnership in helping your students who may be eligible for the Obama Scholars program to meet the Jan. 15 admission deadline. Eligible students must submit their FAFSA by Feb. 1 to be considered for the Obama Scholars program. We communicated this date change by email to eligible admitted students and their families on Jan. 7.

Requirements for the Obama Scholars program:

Must have applied to ASU by Jan. 15, 2025
Submit the FAFSA by Feb. 1, 2025
Meet Pell eligibility requirements
Your students’ FAFSA Submission Summary will tell them if they appear to be eligible for the Pell Grant.
Demonstrate a total family income of $42,400 or less on the FAFSA
