We serve homeschools & schools with K-12 curricula, media, and training. www.classicalacademicpress. Learning should be fun and beautiful!
Classical Academic Press (CAP) is a classical education curriculum, media, and consulting company. We are the product of years of brainstorming, conversations, thoughtful critiques, and application in private, public/charter, and homeschool classrooms. Our mission is to produce and supply to today’s market the finest classical curricula and resources. Our motto, “Classical Subjects Creatively Taug
ht,” describes the essence of all that we publish (Latin, logic, writing & rhetoric, Greek, Spanish, poetry, literature guides, and more). We seek to produce classical curricula and media with a clear design and structure and incremental and systematic instruction, all with a touch of delight, creativity, and flair. Our leader, Dr. Christopher Perrin, is an author, consultant, and speaker, who specializes in classical education and is committed to the national renewal of the liberal arts tradition. He is the co-founder of CAP and serves full time as the CEO/publisher. Through CAP, Christopher serves as a consultant to charter, public, private, and Christian schools across the country. He is the board vice president of the Society for Classical Learning and the director of the Alcuin Fellowship of classical educators. He has published numerous books, articles, and lectures that are widely used throughout the United States and the English-speaking world. Christopher has a passion for classical education and is a lover of goodness, truth, and beauty wherever it is found. The logo of Classical Academic Press features the image of an aqueduct, which in Roman civilization provided water to towns, villages, and cities throughout the empire. We have chosen the aqueduct to symbolize our company’s goal of bridging the old and the new by reviving the tried and true with fresh imagery, technology, and accessibility, and by bringing the life-giving wisdom of the ancient world to the thirsty soul of our own modern culture.
