We take play very seriously in our music classes...it's how children learn best! 🧠
When children play with music, they're learning the complex skills of singing in tune and accurately expressing rhythm in their bodies. Our teachers tap into this extra fun silliness in every class knowing that little brains are soaking it up and learning the entire time! 🥳

One of the best parts of a compilation collection like Kazoo (which starts this week!) is getting to revisit songs from across the Music Together library.
This one is "The Star Variations," which plays on the fact that "Twinkle Twinkle," "Baa Baa Black Sheep," and "The ABC's" are actually all the same tune, and puts them into one big play-along mash up. (That actually becomes a legit jam about half way through).

The Hello Song isn't just a warm-up.
Young children thrive on predictable routines. When we begin each class with the same familiar ritual, children learn what to expect, feel safe in the environment, and begin participating in their own ways.
By the end of the semester, many children know exactly what's coming next—and that confidence helps them engage with all the new musical experiences that follow.
Plus, it's just a really nice way to welcome each child by name. 💛
