During a recent session about leadership, the "Lean In" girls' group at Greater Johnstown Middle School was asked to name a leader and the quality they admire about them. Many of the girls chose their mothers for their strength and bravery, and some of the girls chose Crystal, their CISPA Community School Director. ๐ฅน๐ฅน

From showing upโฆto stepping forward. ๐๐

At Communities In Schools of Pennsylvania, we know that success doesnโt happen alone. It happens when students have people in their corner, showing up and believing in them every step of the way.
Join us in celebrating our graduates and the journeys that brought them here. The future is bright.

Our board members support CISPA and the communities we serve in many ways! Recently, Alexis, our CISPA Community School Coordinator at Northwest Elementary School, needed a volunteer to assist with a field day. This Pride Month, Communities In Schools of Pennsylvania celebrates the power of belonging.
Every student deserves to feel safe, supported, and empowered to be their authentic self. Throughout the year, CISPA works alongside schools, families, and communities to help create environments where young people know they matter and have access to the support they need to reach their full potential.
As we recognize Pride Month, we celebrate the contributions, resilience, and diversity of LGBTQ+ individuals and communities across the country.
Together, we can continue building schools and communities where every student feels connected, valued, and supported.
Happy Pride Month.
