It is with a very heavy heart that we share this news. Our classmate Travis Buffington passed away last night.

I refuse to believe the scillion times I’ve heard “Sailing” by Christopher Cross—- that only lodged ONE week at number one?!! Also shocking to see that MJ’s most successful single was “Say Say Say” a song I’m beyond certain he never did after the studio version was complete ———I also wonder if its release prevented the 7th and final single “Thriller” (released when “Say” did its first week) from being number one——also remembering “Somebody’s Watching Me” was doing heavy numbers as well——which by the top of 84 in addition to watching him nab 16 awards in Jan/Feb (AMA/GRAMMYS) lead to MJ exhaustion clearly the MTV effect was happening 81-86—— I really enjoy these @your.music.education 10/15/2024
