We want to put together something special for her for retirement. We never want her to forget the amazing impact she has had over the years, but SHHH! its a surprise!

Before May ends, we can not forget to shout out our May Spotlight Teacher Miss Carol!!!!!

Miss Carol has a huge heart, amazing patience and such dedication to the children! JOY Center is so blessed to have her!

Last week was Teacher Appreciation Week and we had a great time showering them with special treats and gifts! Our teachers are so dedicated and have such huge hearts they deserve to be celebrated every day!

Thank you to our amazing families who helped provide a Taco Bar and Ice Cream Bar to our awesome teachers!

Teachers, you are doing God's work and are appreciated more than you can ever imagine! THANK YOU!

Every Month we pick an amazing teacher to spotlight! For the Month of April we want to spotlight our one of a kind Pre-K teacher Ms. Janet!

Ms. Janet has dedicated the last 14 years to providing pure love, deep understanding and immense knowledge to the children at JOY Center.

She will never hesitate to share God's love to all, both children and adults!

We are so blessed and grateful for all she did, does and will do!

We love you Ms. Janet!

A huge THANK YOU to Officer Bailey at West Shore Regional Police Department for bringing K9 Athena to visit JOY Center! We were honored to have you both here to help us celebrate National K9 Veteran's Day!

These cute furry friends are specifically trained to assist members of law enforcement and keep communities safe. Their amazing sense of smell can assist in the discovery of narcotics, explosives, and people. They are not just dogs, they are police officers who put their lives on the line with their handlers to keep us safe.

Next time you see a police officer (whether they have fur or not) take a moment to thank them for all they do to keep you and your community safe.

Thank you Officer Bailey and Athena for all you do! You are very much appreciated by JOY Center, the staff and families!
