Hours open to the general public for haircuts: Tue-Fri 9am-6pm and Sat 9am-1pm. Barber Styling Institute, a school for hair professionals, was opened in 1979.
BSI has established a reputation for producing some of the most well rounded barbers in the mid-state. Matthew Schwalm and his wife, Ashley, are proud to continue this tradition of excellence in barbering along with their team of instructors.

Barbering is more than just cutting men’s and women’s hair. We are licensed to perform chemical services and the past couple weeks we’ve been learning haircoloring and here Mr. X is showing off his exceptional highlighting skills! When our students graduate, they can feel confident in offering both haircutting and chemical services when they get out into the field!

Tomorrow, Wednesday July 15th we will be taking last haircuts at 4:30p.m. to help at Lighthouse Vacation Bible School. If you’re looking for a great Bible message for your kiddos, we would love to have them join us!

Love, Peace, and Hair Grease! We will be sending off for our summer break starting Friday, June 26th and we will return on Wednesday, July 8th. We hope everyone has a wonderful Independence Day! Happy 250 years to the United States of America and may we allow God to continue to Bless this great nation!

We are just wrapping up our shaving and facial hair design chapter in our theory and demonstrations on the clinic floor, but we offer these services to our customers as well! Stop in for a beard trim or a shave and shed that winter wool! Also, we will be closed on April 3rd and 4th to observe the Easter Celebration so we hope to see you before then!

Drew Fleschut’s whole get up was a hit at the PA Farm Show Mullet Contest, but his authenticity helped him favor the crowd! You could tell he was super appreciative to be the winner!

We had an awesome time at the PA Farm Show Mullet contest today! Joe Dirte’(Drew Fleschut) mopped up the competition at the mane event for “Best in Grow“! The trophy awarded was a 1976 corvette bumper to commemorate our country’s 250th anniversary. Merica!🇺🇸

As time is traveling at warp speed before Christmas, don’t get a last minute haircut! We’ll have our regular business hours on Tuesday, December 23rd and then be back from our Christmas break on Friday, January 2nd.
