The Children's Center

The Children's Center main location and offices are located on South 38th Street in Camp Hill. Our or The Churches Affiliated Child Care Center, Inc. CACCC, Inc.

was created in 1988 as a mission of outreach by seven area churches to provide quality, state licensed early childhood education to the community at affordable prices. The program began with one site and eight children at the Camp Hill United Methodist Church. Now with the help of affiliated churches, we have the capability to serve more than 250 children across our programs. The Camp Hill United

Methodist Church hosts our summer Kidz Kamp program, serving more than eighty children each summer. Summer Kidz Kamp is available to children who have completed kindergarten through 9th grade. For a fun and enrichment filled summer,our program is divided by grade level to offer more age appropriate activities. has also been responsible for the implementation and operation of the before and after school programs offered to students in the Camp Hill School District since the fall of 1994. greatly benefits from the active participation of its affiliated churches. Camp Hill United Methodist Church, St. Timothy Lutheran Church, and Mt. Calvary Episcopal Church, all located in Camp Hill, are instrumental to the success of the program. We welcome more churches to join our mission of outreach in our community. A Board of Directors governs Churches Affiliated Child Care Center, Inc. The Board is made up of two representatives from each of the affiliated churches. Each participating church elects their members to represent their interests and to provide the center with a governing body. The Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing the program in its entirety. Some issues addressed by the board on a regular basis include personnel, finance, fundraising, and the program. Churches Affiliated Child Care Center, Inc. prides itself on being able to provide quality care and education to so many children at the most reasonable rates possible. Priority is given to families with demonstrated financial need who may not be able to afford the tuition charged by for-profit child care programs. A scholarship program, funded by the participating churches and annual fundraisers, helps to subsidize the tuition for families in need. It is our mission to provide quality care, education, and peace of mind to working parents in our community. We continue to explore new ways to fulfill our mission by expanding and improving our existing programs.
