Alfie loves my garden. Unfortunately, that means he loves digging in it, eating the mulch and ripping the leaves and flowers off the plants. 🤦♀️
I've already dug up all the hostas, as they are toxic to dogs. However, I've chosen to reframe this as an opportunity to redesign the entire garden and include areas that are "safe from Alfie," as well as a path for zoomies. 🐕💨

At the last podcast conference I attended, something one of the presenters said has stuck with me. The topic was downloads. So many people use them as a metric for success. Although I’m building steadily, by many standards, I don’t have a ton of downloads after 18 months and 148 episodes.
The presenter said, “Instead of downloads, think of them as people. If even 5 people knocked on your door and wanted to hear you talk, would you think of that as a failure?”
As a therapist, I help one person at a time. I would need to see 14 clients a day, every single day for 18 months, to reach 7500.
In a world where we have endless options literally at our fingertips, 7500 times someone chose to listen to me and my amazing guests. To me, this is success. 86 countries. 1015 cities all over the world. Women telling me that, when they need courage, they think “no shrinking violets.” 💜
Sometimes the measure of success isn’t the highest number or snagging the biggest advertisers.
