Being back at school has us reminiscing on all the holiday magic from December!
Students worked on engineering - building bridges that could hold 100 pennies and 2-story gingerbread houses that wouldn't topple! Lower elementary also learned all about the different winter holidays while Mrs. Henslee's 6th graders completed an Ancient Egypt culminating project.

October was too much fun!

Mrs. Pagano's TK-2 graders went on a field trip to the Nimbus Fish Hatchery & Safetyville to complement our Community Helpers unit.

They also studied engineering and fractured fairy tales, with a culminating science project that required them to build a house that could withstand the Big Bad Wolf (aka Mrs. Pagano's hair dryer).

The weather has been too perfect to not get outside and do some afternoon nature journaling.

And October went out with a bang! A mini-unit on bats, law enforcement day, Fall party and our annual costume parade with the big school!

Special guests Board of Trustee Snodgrass, Board President Judy Morris, and Mrs. Snodgrass were guest presenters and taught Camino Poly students about blue birds and how to build a bird house.
