Wildcat Marching Band Bottle Drive Reminder
The West Genesee Wildcat Band Bottle Drive is Sunday, September 13, 2026 beginning at 12:00 p.m. How you can help:

Leave your bottles out for our volunteers to be collected. Please leave them by your garage door or front door, not by the road. This will guard against theft and protect the safety of our students and volunteers; and/or
Drop off your bottles in the high school parking lot (bus garage side) between 12:00- 4:00 p.m. Wildcat Marching Band volunteers will be ready to unload your car.

New Assistant Principal at WGHS is Announced

At the Board of Education meeting held on August 26, 2026 approved Paige Gardner as the new Assistant Principal at West Genesee High School.

She was a full-time Administrative Intern at the high school during the 2025–2026 school year, and was an integral member of the administrative team, gaining broad experience and taking on a wide range of responsibilities.

Gardner has been in the District for 24 years where she taught at the high school, West Genesee Middle School, and Camillus Middle School prior to her internship. She has been an active participant in professional development, including Solution Tree PLC training, and served as a member of the CMS Guiding Coalition. Her facilitation of a subcommittee focused on effective behavior interventions included analyzing student data and developing student-specific intervention plans. She also served as co-advisor of the CMS SAGA Club and contributed to the Language Educators of Central New York (LECNY).

She earned a Certificate of Advanced Study from Le Moyne College, including certifications as a School District Leader and School Building Leader. Previously. She received a Master of Arts from Middlebury College and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from William Smith College.

Superintendent Bills shared, “Please join me in congratulating Paige Gardner and welcoming her to the next chapter of her career as Assistant Principal at WGHS.”

I am excited to continue my journey at West Genesee as I transition from my administrative internship to the role of assistant principal. After 25 years in this district, it feels like home. I am grateful to be part of such a phenomenal community, working alongside incredible teachers, students, and families.

Gardner lives in Baldwinsville with her husband and their two sons, aged 13 and 15.
