The MCPS family is praying for the family of Ms. Linda Coe during this difficult time. We are deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved coworker and friend. Ms. Coe touched the lives of so many with her kindness, dedication, and caring spirit. Her presence will be greatly missed, but her impact on our school family will never be forgotten. Mitchell County Primary School would like to extend heartfelt congratulations to Mrs. Vanessa Williams, School Counselor, and Ms. Kitty Zimmerman, Cafeteria Worker, on their well-deserved retirements.

Mrs. Williams has touched the lives of countless students, families, and staff members through her care, guidance, and dedication for 31 years as a school teacher and counselor. Ms. Zimmerman has served our students for 10 years with kindness, hard work, and a warm smile in the cafeteria each day.

We are so thankful for their many years of service and the positive impact they have made on our school family. Their dedication, love, and commitment will always be remembered and appreciated.

🎓 Congratulations to the Mitchell County Primary School Kindergarten Class of 2026! 🎓

On Wednesday, May 20, 2026, our kindergarten students celebrated a very special milestone during their Kindergarten Graduation program. Families, friends, teachers, and staff gathered to honor our young graduates and the hard work they have put in throughout the school year.

The celebration included sweet songs performed by the students and the special presentation of diplomas, recognizing each graduate for completing kindergarten and preparing to take the next big step to first grade.

We are so proud of our 2026 kindergarten graduates and cannot wait to see all the wonderful things they will accomplish! ❤️💙

Today, Mitchell County Primary School was filled with excitement and inspiration as we welcomed the Mitchell County High School Class of 2026 for their Senior Walk Through! 🎓💙❤️

Our primary students lined the halls cheering on the graduates as they walked proudly through the school that helped shape the beginning of their educational journey. This special tradition not only celebrates our seniors’ accomplishments, but also inspires our youngest students to dream big, work hard, and one day walk those same halls as graduates themselves.

The Senior Walk Through also gave former teachers, coaches, family members, and friends a chance to see these amazing students in person and celebrate how far they have come. What a meaningful reminder that once a Mitchell County Eagle, always a Mitchell County Eagle!
