One of the most important concepts we teach is that where your thumbs are pointing is NOT necessarily where the ball will go. Your PLATFORM ANGLE is what directs the ball to target.⁠ ⁠ Angles, angles, angles.⁠ ⁠ If we keep our movements calm and intentional, we can better control the pass. ⁠ ⁠ The goal is not to muscle the ball where you want it, but to trust the angle you’ve set and let the ball work off your platform. ⁠ ⁠ Just like in life, the direction we end up going isn’t determined by where we think we’re “pointing,” but by the actual posture of our hearts.⁠ ⁠ Proverbs 4:25–26 says, “Let your eyes look forward; fix your gaze straight ahead. Carefully consider the path for your feet, and all your ways will be established.” ⁠ ⁠ When we stay aligned with God’s truth, our lives head toward His target for us.⁠ ⁠ Train your platform.⁠ Trust the angle.⁠ Stay aligned.
