🎃 They're starting to roll in!!
The first costume donations have officially arrived at Midwest Harvest Hills — and let's just say the bins are already stacking up. 🙌

Every single one of these is going to a kiddo who gets to pick out something they love this Halloween, free of charge.

Mark your calendars: our Halloween Costume Exchange is Wednesday, October 1st, 5:30–7:00pm at Midwest Harvest Hills — free and open to the community, co-hosted with The Loaded Tray and Hardwood Hoops Academy.

Still collecting! If you've got costumes your kids have outgrown (all sizes, baby through adult), we'd love to take them off your hands. Monetary donations welcome too — those help us fill in the gaps for sizes we're short on.

Drop them off at the farm, or message us and we'll figure it out.

Our hard work and dedication doesn’t stop at the gym. We are teaming up with Midwest Harvest Hills and The Loaded Tray to bring a special event to our community this fall!

Donation drop off will be during business hours at Midwest Harvest Hills (10am-6pm) beginning September 1st, or message Hardwood Hoops Academy or The Loaded Tray directly to coordinate another time.

🎃 Got costumes collecting dust? We want 'em.
Every kid deserves to feel like the coolest thing in the neighborhood on Halloween night — and no parent should have to choose between a costume and the grocery bill.

So Midwest Harvest Hills, The Loaded Tray, and Hardwood Hoops Academy are teaming up for a free Halloween Costume Exchange on October 1st, 5:30–7pm — and we need your help stocking the racks.

What we're collecting:
👻 Gently used costumes — all sizes, babies through adults
🕷️ Accessories: wigs, capes, masks, hats, wands, tutus
🍬 Monetary donations (we'll fill in the gaps and buy the sizes we're short on)
What we're asking: clean, complete, and in good enough shape you'd let your own kid wear it. That's the whole standard.
Drop off at Midwest Harvest Hills, or message The Loaded Tray, Hardwood Hoops, or MWHH and we'll figure out the handoff.

Then on October 1st, families come, browse, and take home whatever they need — completely free. No forms, no questions, no explaining yourself at the door.
That Spider-Man suit your kid outgrew? Somebody's Halloween. 🧡

A huge thank you to every player who attended our 2-day Hardwood Hoops Academy Summer Basketball Camp at Cameron High School and to all of the parents who made it possible.

Thank you for investing in your athletes, getting them to and from camp, and trusting us to be a small part of their basketball journey.

We also appreciate everyone’s flexibility with the ongoing construction and the hot gym without air conditioning.

We had an awesome two days and are already looking forward to seeing everyone back in the gym soon. Thanks for spending part of your summer with Hardwood Hoops Academy! 🏀🙏

Our 12U & 13U teams had an awesome weekend filled with basketball, followed up with some team bonding! 🏀

On Saturday, the teams competed in Forest Lake, Minnesota before spending the evening hanging out together at the hotel. Sunday, they wrapped up the weekend by taking in the Minnesota Twins vs. Milwaukee Brewers game! ⚾️

Lots of great memories made on and off the court this weekend!
