Why: To promote basketball and learn basic skills
Cost: $55 per camper

Like his father, Manute, Bol Bol will grow to be extraordinarily tall. Already standing 6'10" and a mere freshman, Bol has shown skills more on par with an athletic forward than a lumbering center. He's definitely one to watch.

This was a great race in 2014--my whole family did it. I am glad to see that they are giving their proceeds to a great cause. Hope to see many of you New Century Middle School Basketball players at this years race.

This is why we do what we do:

Lauren Hill, a basketball player from Mount St. Joseph University, passed away last week after a battle with DIPG. Despite facing a terminal diagnosis, she went on to raise funds and awareness for others fighting brain tumors.

With your support we can continue to raise awareness and support for pediatric brain tumor research, just like Lauren dedicated her life to doing.

FREE Sports physicals for next year's sports!

FirstHealth and Moore County Schools will again be hosting free athletic physicals this year for all Moore County Middle and High School student athletes participating on teams for the 2015-16 school year. The screenings will be conducted for student athletes
on Saturday, April 25th at the Moore County Health Department.

Once again this year, students will be seen at the appointed time below.

10:00 AM Union Pines, Crain’s Creek, New Century Middle
