'Twas the night before volleyball, when all through the gym,
The lights had gone dark, the court quiet and dim.
The jerseys were hanging in lockers with care,
In hopes that the first serve soon would be there.

The athletes were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of aces danced through their heads.
With dreams of big blocks and impossible digs,
They pictured long rallies and championship wins.

The whistles would soon echo loud through the hall,
Calling each player to give their all.
Every sprint, every serve, every pass, every hit,
Would be another chance to refuse to quit.

The nerves may be real, but so is the fight,
You've trained for this moment all summer long, right?
Trust in your teammates, your coaches, your heart,
Tomorrow's the day your season will start.

Play with passion. Play confident. Compete every play.
Lift up your teammates in every way.
Win or lose, let one thing be true—
No one will outwork the Blue and White crew.

📣 Attention 2026 9th-12th Grade Families!

Please plan to join us for our 7th–12th Grade Volleyball Parent & Player Meeting on Wednesday, August 12, at 6:00 PM.

This meeting is an important opportunity to go over expectations, schedules, and everything you’ll need to know for the upcoming season. We ask that both players and at least one parent attend in person.

We look forward to seeing everyone there and kicking off a great season together! 🏐

What an incredible weekend for Comet Volleyball! 🏐💙

Our team camp was two days of hard work, growth, and laying the foundation for the upcoming season. The girls put in countless reps, competed at a high level, and challenged each other to get better every time they stepped on the court.

Beyond the volleyball skills, this weekend was about building our culture. Our athletes identified our program’s strengths, embraced accountability, and set new standards for what Comet Volleyball will be moving forward. In fact, they even gave it a name: “The New Comet Volleyball.”

We’re excited to build on the traditions that make our program special while bringing fresh ideas and energy into the season. This is only the beginning, and we can’t wait to get everyone back together as we continue preparing for fall.

The future is bright. Stay tuned—good things are coming! 💙🏐

🔥 One month down, and these Comet girls are getting after it! We enjoyed a Red, White, and Blue themed practice before our week break for the 4th 💪🏐

The work happening behind the scenes is adding up! Time in the weight room, countless reps in the gym, and building chemistry with teammates all summer long 🔥

Every lift, every drill, and every practice is creating opportunities for success this fall. The commitment, effort, and attitude these athletes are showing now will pay off when it’s time to compete.

Keep grinding, Comets! The best is yet to come! 🏐
