Our littlest sprouts in our 2s class had so much fun exploring pumpkin emotions today!

From happy and grumpy to sleepy and silly, our little learners practiced identifying different feelings and creating their very own pumpkin faces! 🎃

This sweet fall activity encouraged emotional awareness, fine motor skills, creativity and lots of little conversations about our BIG feelings!

Spooky season is in full swing at Little Sprouts! 🎃👻🍂

Our little learners have been having so much fun with some festive hands-on activities! They practiced their letters with a spooky alphabet activity, worked those fine motor skills with an eyeball transfer practical life activity using skeleton hands 👀💀 and even brought a little fall fun indoors with leaf raking! 🍁

And of course, they had to end the spooky fun with something sweet - homemade chocolate chip spiderweb cookies! 🍪🕸️

One of our classrooms had so much fun learning all about sheep!

The kiddos learned about wool, why sheep are sheared, and how farmers carefully remove their fleece. Then they got to bring the lesson to life with a super fun “Shear the Sheep” activity! ✂️🐑

And of course, no Little Sprouts lesson is complete without a little extra fun - they wrapped it all up with the cutest sheep themed treat! 😋

We love turning our lessons into experiences that make learning fun, memorable, and meaningful for our little learners. ✨

We are SO excited for the fall season at Little Sprouts! 🍂🍁🤎

Our classrooms are already filling up with all things fall! The kiddos have been busy practicing their fine motor skills with cutting, gluing, tracing, and creating colorful fall leaves, along with pinecone painting and beautiful colored corn art in our 2’s classroom.

We love turning the season into opportunities for hands-on learning, creativity, and a little bit of mess along the way ✨

September is all about Apples, Harvest & Gardens!

Our kiddos have been busy with so many fun, hands-on apple activities! They’ve been practicing shapes and matching, getting creative with apple stamp painting, and making homemade apple tarts! 🥧🍏

There’s been so much more happening in our classrooms this month as we explore all things apples, harvest, and gardens! From art and sensory play to cooking and hands-on learning, the kiddos have been fully immersed in all the fun of the season.

Letter learning, the hands-on way! ✨

Our little learners practiced letter formation with sand tracing, building those important pre-writing and fine motor skills. Then we brought our letter of the day to life with the cutest “E is for Elephant” art! 🐘

Homemade Pizza Day! 🍅🍕✨

Last week, Miss Elisa and the kiddos made homemade pizza sauce from scratch and then used it to create some delicious pizzas!

Our little chefs helped chop, mix, spread, sprinkle, and build their pizzas from start to finish. Cooking together is such a fun way to practice independence, fine motor skills, following directions and teamwork - all while making some pretty sweet memories.

And of course… the best part was getting to eat their creations! 🍕😋

Ms. Elisa’s class got creative and made edible self-portraits today! 🍓🫐🧀

This hands-on activity encouraged creativity while building fine motor skills, facial recognition, and artistic expression as each child created their own unique portrait. ✨

The best part? They got to enjoy their masterpieces as a yummy snack when they were finished! We love learning experiences that combine creativity, independence, and a little bit of fun with food!
