Student and staff safety is a top priority of the Camdenton R-III School District.

In alignment with the district’s Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) Goal Area 1: Climate and Safety, we are committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for everyone on our campuses. To support this, all school grounds, including playgrounds, tracks, courts, fields, and other recreational areas, will be closed to the public during school hours, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM.

This proactive measure helps us prioritize student safety and reduce potential risks during the school day. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in following this safety protocol.

This morning we had the privilege of celebrating some of our amazing 2nd grade students 👏🎉

We are so proud of the students who earned awards for being Responsible Leaders; showing consistency, dependability, and setting a great example for their peers.

We also want to celebrate our Academic Leaders, who have gone above and beyond in their learning and inspired those around them with their hard work and dedication. 📚✏️

Way to go, 2nd grade! You are truly living out what it means to LOVE, LEARN, and LEAD! 💜💛

Friday Night Lights Kick Off !!

Our football players kicked off this morning with lots of welcoming high-fives! Then off to read in a few of our classrooms before heading back to class!

Our students enjoyed having the bigger kids here and really look up to them! Thank you Laker Football !!

Envelopes are coming home with students today for the Laker Discount Card Fundraiser! The Camdenton Laker Athletic Boosters are sponsoring the Discount Card Program that will run through September 17. Students can sell cards to family and friends to help support the Camdenton R-III School District. 100% of the net proceeds go to help our schools!

Please turn in your envelopes by Thursday, September 17, and make sure your student's name is written clearly on the envelope.

💜Staff Champion of The Month💛 Nurse Krista

New to the building this year she jumped right in with both feet. Going above and beyond to make sure our kiddos are well taken care of. With a kind heart, listening ear, and a comforting presence, she helps our students feel seen, heard, and cared for. She makes everyone's day a little brighter here at Hawthorn. We are so thankful for her caring spirit in our building.
