Camdenton R-III Afterschool Services

Today in America there are 7.6 million kids that are alone and unsupervised after the school day ends.
The LEAP Staff in partnership with Camdenton R-III School District are focusing on what we can do to keep the kids in our community safe and to inspire them to learn and grow. Officer Williams is working with the Driver's Education Students from the Laker Enrichment Afterschool Program (LEAP). They are learning how to check fluid levels, jump a battery, and change a tire. Next week they will begin supervised driving!

Tonight is the night!

As we wind down the afterschool programming, we ant to thank all of the teachers, secretaries, bus drivers, food service, custodians, and volunteers that help make the Laker Enrichment Afterschool Program happen every day! The last day for LEAP will be Thursday, APRIL 27. Enjoy the rest of the school year!

Hawthorn LEAP students presented several readers theaters for their families! Students also designed and created all of the sets and costumes. Thank you to all of the families for joining us!
