The Camdenton R-III School District would like to recognize Hixton Walker as the Smith & Gustafson Law Firm Student of the Week. Hixton is a first-grader at Dogwood Elementary.

Hixton's teacher says, "Hixton proves what it means to be a Laker Leader every day! He arrives with a positive attitude and a giant smile, ready to tackle every task with enthusiasm. You will often find him sharing encouraging words with friends, looking for ways to help, and making the best of every situation. He works hard on every task and is always eagerly engaged. Our classroom is so much brighter with him in it!"

Our first "Friday Night Lakeside" of the season is almost here! Please adhere to the following guidelines to make Friday nights safe and enjoyable for everyone:

PreK-5th grade students must be accompanied and seated by a parent or guardian.

6th-12th grade students must sit in their designated student section or with parents/guardians.

Students may not congregate under the bleachers.

No footballs, frisbees, soccer balls, recreational items, etc., will be allowed. The turf area in front of the video scoreboard and by the band bleachers will be off-limits.

Friday Nights are a showcase for so many of our programs, and we can't wait to see our community pack the stands in support of our Lakers! See you tomorrow night!

Lakers!

Anticipation is building for Friday’s first home football game! We’ll be sharing a few important updates over the next few days to help everyone prepare.

The football team will be arriving from CHS by bus, traveling through town with a police es**rt before making their entrance at the stadium. Because the team will not be using the player parking lot, there will be a few changes to VIP and handicapped parking.

Handicapped Parking
There is limited handicapped parking in the lot behind Hawthorn, closest to the video scoreboard. Additional handicapped parking will be located in the LCTC lot, in the row closest to the stadium. A golf cart shuttle will be available to help guests get to the entrance.

VIP & Senior Parent Parking
The lot behind Hawthorn Elementary, on the video scoreboard side, is reserved for Laker Athletic Booster VIPs and senior parents, and limited handicapped parking.

Please remember:
• One car per VIP pass
• One car per senior athlete

The Camdenton R-III School District would like to recognize Rylee Fisher as the Smith & Gustafson Law Firm Student of the Week. Rylee is a 7th grader at Camdenton Middle School.

CMS Administration says, "Rylee has taken the initiative to start an after-school LEGO club, providing a creative outlet for her peers. Her leadership encourages collaboration and innovation, allowing students to express themselves while having fun. She is known for her positive attitude, which brightens the classroom and inspires her classmates to embrace challenges with optimism. Her ability to stay organized is admirable; she manages her time effectively and balances her responsibilities."

Envelopes are coming home with students today for the Laker Discount Card Fundraiser! The Camdenton Laker Athletic Boosters are sponsoring the Discount Card Program that will run through September 17. Students can sell cards to family and friends to help support the Camdenton R-III School District. 100% of the net proceeds go to help our schools!

Please turn in your envelopes by Thursday, September 17, and make sure your student's name is written clearly on the envelope.
