Our 1st graders loved JROTC’s 4th annual boot camp! This event highlights character traits such as strength, endurance, and teamwork, led by Camdenton High School Army JROTC cadets!

We have had an incredible year with our 2nd Grade Leadership Group! These young leaders made a lasting impact on both our school and the community. Throughout the year, they took on significant responsibilities, including:

-Creating "Monday Morning Positive Behavior" videos.
-Leading the school in the Pledge of Allegiance over the intercom.
-Spreading joy through caroling and Valentine’s Day activities at local senior living centers.
-Organizing clothing drives and creating appreciation videos and cards for the Camdenton School Board.

By studying the 7 Habits of Happy Kids leadership curriculum, these students have developed essential life skills. We are incredibly proud of their growth and look forward to the continued impact they will make at Hawthorn. We are also excited to welcome our upcoming 1st Grade Leadership Club! Finally, a sincere thank you to the teachers who dedicated their time to support our leadership team.
