In 1987, thanks to a grant from the William Penn Foundation we were able to renovate our former location at 832 South 4th Street, relocate the pre-school program to the Fourth Street facility and start an infant/toddler program at the 617 North 2nd Street. In 1993, thanks to the generous grant from Division of Youth and Family Services, we were able to start another infant/toddler program at 832 South 4th Street. In 1998, we expanded the license capacity from 24 children to 40 children with a grant from the City of Camden. Since our commencement 44 years ago, we have increased our capacity from 22 children to its present capacity of 204 children within its two sites, serving children ages newborn to 6 years of age. In our North Camden facility, we have an enrollment of 40 children. In our South Camden facility, we currently are serving 165 children. In 2007, we completed the construction of our new facility located at 438 Martin Luther King Boulevard. The new 16,900 square foot Center is a state-of-the-art facility with all the amenities that helped us expand our services and our outreach to the community, its people and above all - our children.
