Today was my first day of school and my 6th year of teaching. It was bittersweet. I was excited to see the students and my coworkers, but I had moments of sadness, because today is 1 year since Bob’s passing😢.

It was such a nice evening seeing everyone get their awards and trophies at the 2021 Annual Banquet. Congratulations to every player, especially the 13-15 RBI Phillies players/coaches who won the championship. (I got a 💍 and and I got the #1 🏆)

At the end of the school year, I was asked to become a Learning Resource Teacher to help the many middle school students who struggled during the pandemic. I was honored that I was recognized for my skills to differentiate during a difficult school-year; however, I was not so happy to change classrooms from the top of the building to the bottom.

.2 I am proud of you… From winning a RBI baseball championship to making the RBI softball travel team… you are hands-down Phenomenal… I am so happy to be apart of your journey. If anyone knows our bond, they know this wasn’t an easy journey. This was definitely a journey of ‘going against all odds’ and even sacrificing time and relationships to put in the work to get to these accomplishments. Whitman Park’s Opening Day was such a great turn-out. I appreciate Coach Des and Coach for encouraging me to be apart of their team. I enjoyed coaching a game(we won 14-4), officiating a boys’ 15u baseball game, and being a spectator at our closing game.
When you love something that you do, do it with no regrets. It’s nice to be surrounded by people who want to be surrounded by you. ⚾️

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL…. I made it through a tough year personally and professionally. I shed a few tears thinking about this past school-year and all the things I encountered. 4N, Room 218 got me through some of these difficult times. I enjoyed every minute with them, especially today. IT WAS EPIC!!! and
