👻📚 Spooky Stories and a Few Surprises! 🎃

We had a special visitor in the library today! Storyteller Cindy Phillips entertained our 2nd and 3rd graders with some fantastic storytelling!

The students were completely captivated, hanging on every word and eagerly participating! The BEST part was watching them jump out of their seats when she threw in a dramatic scare! 😂👻

Parents of 3rd graders… ask your child to retell “The Ghost with One Black Eye!” 👁️👻 You might be in for a treat!

Both grade levels had so much fun participating today! A HUGE thank you to Cindy Phillips for bringing stories to life and making reading so much fun! 💛📚

🧩😂 These goofy boys did it AGAIN! 😂🧩Apparently solving it once just wasn’t enough! 😂 Way to go, guys!👏🧩

📚🥰 This is what library day excitement sounds like! 🥰📚

Just listen to these sweet kindergarten voices! 🎶❤️ They were so excited about their new library books that they sang about taking care of their books the whole way back from the library!

Safe to say, library day is a pretty big deal in kindergarten! 📖🐝💛

These are the little moments that make my librarian heart happy! 🥹📚

👑🍀 A Special Visitor in the Library Today! 🍀📚

Our 1st–3rd grade students had a special visit from Ouachita County Fair Queen Kaileigh McElroy today!

Kaileigh shared some of her experiences with the 4-H program and talked with students about the opportunities and experiences 4-H has given her. 🍀 She also spent some time reading The Little Red Hen to each of the classes. 🐔📖

Thank you, Kaileigh, for taking the time to visit with our students, share your story, and enjoy a good book with us! 💛👑

📚🧱 Building to Protect Our Books! 🧱📚

Our 2nd graders became book builders in the library this week! They used different types of building blocks to design and create bookshelves that would keep our books safe and protected.

Lots of creativity, problem-solving, and some pretty impressive construction went into these designs! 🏗️📖
