R. T. Cream Early Childhood Center

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the volunteers from Samaritan’s Feet and Truist! Today, our Cream Cats participated in an age-appropriate financial literacy lesson and received a Hope Tote filled with athletic shoes, socks, and a special Hope Note.

This event is part of Truist’s nationwide effort to serve more than 10,000 individuals with new shoes alongside Samaritans Feet this year. We are appreciative of this great opportunity💙🧡💙!

Today, our students enjoyed a fun-filled Spring Fling AttenDANCE Party in celebration of their great attendance! We are incredibly proud of their commitment to showing up and being ready to learn each day.

A special thank you to Advisory Board President Nnamdi Nelson, Advisory Board Member Derrick Gallashaw, our Cream School staff, and our families for coming together to support and encourage our students’ attendance efforts. CEA PEP Grant presents Fathers Forward Circle, a safe space for men to discuss the joys and challenges of fatherhood. Camden’s own Rakim Stevens, a father, author, and creator of Fathers Forward, leads the group. It was a meaningful meeting where men shared and supported each other. We are thankful for our Superintendent Llano, our fathers and father figures for their participation and support.

"Today Ms Matthews/McClain/Hills class was visited by Ms Matthews elementary band director and instrumental teacher, and her current barbershop conductor Mrs Ludlum! Students learned how to direct using their magic baton(straw). Each student selected a song for their "choir"" to sing, and practiced their conducting skills leading the class!!"
