YUNG POPPA’S “EDUCATION OVER EVRYTHING/NO BULLIES ALLOWED” tour was created to promote the message of Anti-bullying, Education, Obesity, and entrepreneurship through his music and motivational speaking, while simultaneously connecting *YUNG POPPA* to his peers and fans. Since the start of the tour in 2009 *YUNG POPPA* has been traveling to schools (Elementary- High School) all throughout the tri-state area promoting the message of anti-bullying. Through *YUNG POPPA’S* success in the entertainment business he’s been able to reach kids in a way that has been proven affective over the past few years. One of the most important pieces to the tour is *YUNG POPPA’S* “NO BULLIES ALLOWED” Pledge. While at the school *YUNG POPPA* will ask each student to take the pledge during the program, students that take the pledge are given a “NO BULLIES ALLOWED” certificate and sticker or t-shirt which allows other students to know that they’re taking a stand against the mistreatment of other students. In addition to the pledge we’ve designed a strong wrap-around program to empower kids to be leaders and build strong relationships with other students they may not usually interact with in school or in their community. Once the pledge list is created we work with the school’s principal and guidance counselor to set aside an hour every week for the students that have taken the “NO BULLIES ALLOWED” pledge to discuss preventive ways tackle the nationwide problem of bullying. Two students (male & female) from the pledge list will be chosen as ambassadors for the school and will lead the weekly meetings. To promote leadership in all students the “NO BULLIES ALLOWED AMBASSADORS” will change bi-weekly, and will continue to rotate throughout the school year. At the meetings any students that have been bullied will have the opportunity to express how they felt during and after the incident, also how being bullied has affected their life. Each student in the “NO BULLIES ALLOWED” peer group will be partnered with a “BULLY BUDDY”. The key component to the “BULLY BUDDY” network is to put students together that wouldn’t usually be friends, that come from different backgrounds, and that have totally different interest. One of the main reasons kids are bullied is because their different in one way or another. We want to teach students to focus on working together and what we have in common versus being divided and focusing how we’re different. Because no matter how different we are, we all have something in common. Another key component to the tour is the guest speaker segment. The guest speaker segment was designed to give students an inside look at different entrepreneurs and business professionals. *YUNG POPPA’S* “EDUCATION OVER EVERYTHING/NO BULLIES ALLOWED” tour wants to help students get a head start on their future careers, so we’ve partnered with some great entrepreneurs and business professionals to make this happen. Each guest speaker is given 15-20 minutes to give the students insight and a blueprint of things they can and should do to prepare for a career in that particular field. For example students will have the opportunity to learn what it takes to be a pilot, clothing designer, financial advisor, editor-in-chief, college football coach, CEO of a corporation, OB/GYN, Director of a non-profit organization, music producer, manager mechanical engineer, actor, musician, model, video director, and attorney. Their education doesn’t stop with the tour, an internship program has been establish as a wrap-around program with the entrepreneurs and business professionals to allow students to continue their training throughout high school and college.
