The high school art students requested an activity from their childhood, they got to disguise a turkey in art today!

Karlea is working hard on her senior art portfolio this year. She has found a new love for sculpture and ceramics, but portrait drawing is a huge strength of hers. Look for more of her artwork on FB and in the halls of CF.

The high school art students are working on drawing in the style of Tim Burton. Here are a few of the self-portraits.

Miss Campbell's 4th grade students created oil pastel resist pumpkins in art class. They experimented with a new technique to create a look that resembles relief printmaking.

Mrs. Ringman received The Meemic Foundation POPIn2Win Basic School Supplies Grant and was able to purchase new staplers, staples, and a brand new wall pencil sharpener for the art room! A big thank you to the Meemic Foundation!

Today is the day to enter artwork! Two students stopped by yesterday to have me help them mat and frame their art for the show. The girls did an amazing job on these pieces. You can enter your artwork from art class, and just for entering, you will receive a gift card! Drop the artwork off between 10-5 today at the Hillsdale Community Library. The show will run Friday and Saturday!
