Mr. Fisher’s History Through Film class recently welcomed back former Camden-Frontier student Sam Brown for a special guest presentation.
Sam is currently a sophomore at the University of Michigan, where he is studying film and English.
Fisher’s students recently finished watching the classic western The Good, the Bad and the Ugly as part of their study of western films and their connections to the American Civil War.
When Sam was a student in History Through Film, he delivered an impressive presentation on why The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is considered one of the most influential films in cinematic history.
Knowing Sam’s passion and knowledge of film, Mr. Fisher invited him to return to the classroom virtually via Zoom to share his insights and discuss the film’s historical and cinematic significance.
It was a great opportunity for current students to learn from a former CF student who has turned his interest in film into an academic pursuit at the University of Michigan!
