We had a great turnout to our Wisconsin game watch at Ventnor Social. We looked very strong tonight and everyone felt good about the team! Thank you to everyone who came and to Traci and EJ Dougherty for giving us such a wonderful venue!

ND vs Wisconsin Gamewatch at the Shore -THIS SUNDAY!!

7:00 - 11 PM EDT

Celebrate Labor Day weekend with your favorite team, fellow alumni, friends and family. The ND Club of South Jersey is hosting a game watch on Sunday, September 6th at Ventnor Social located at 6417 Ventnor Ave, Ventnor City, NJ 08406. Game start is 7:30. We will provide the appetizers and our hosts, the Dougherty family, are sure to have a few drink specials. We’ll have T shirts on sale so come on down to the shore and join the Irish fans for this legendary rivalry!

There is only street parking for Ventnor Social so we have arranged parking around the corner at St James Roman Catholic Church at Newport and Atlantic Avenues.

CLUB PICNIC AND STUDENT SEND OFF

THIS Sunday, August 2nd 1PM - 4PM

Location: Laurel House, 562 Walton Avenue, Mt Laurel, NJ

We invite all Notre Dame Alumni/ae, Students, both current and incoming, Notre Dame parents and Notre Dame friends from throughout South Jersey. All are welcome!

We will serve traditional picnic fare and have volleyball and corn hole available to play. There is a brand new playground for children. We have the option of moving inside if it rains so this event will happen rain or shine!

Our South Jersey Club had a wonderful Universal Notre Dame Night on Wednesday night. Many thanks to Marty Klubeck for his enthusiastic and inspirational talk. We were fortunate to host Marty for his last UND talk after over 10 years representing ND at many UND nights. Marty retires at the end of June after 40 years with Notre Dame. ☘️☘️❤️

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Amazon wish list and gift cards. We were able to donate 12 spa gift baskets that included robe sets, blankets, facial packets and $35 Target plus $10 Dunkin gift cards. Your generosity was unmatched and gratefully appreciated. ☘️☘️☘️

The Notre Dame Club of South Jersey contacted Providence House Domestic Violence Services in Burlington County with a plan to make our clients feel special on Mother’s Day…mission accomplished! These lovely gift baskets are filled with thoughtful gifts designed to pamper. THANK YOU, Notre Dame Club of South Jersey for brightening the day for the survivors we serve!

Providence House Domestic Violence Services works to end the cycle of domestic abuse through education, empowerment and advocacy while providing a safe haven from abuse. Services are FREE. Thank you to everyone who participated in our Global Day of Service making over 300 sandwiches, 300 utensil packets and 50 placemats. The fruit and snack donations were so incredibly generous too!
Cathedral Kitchen in Camden was truly grateful for all of our effort!

Global Day of Service this Saturday, April 25th!!

We are supporting Cathedral Kitchen, an incredible organization in Camden that serves over 700 meals daily. Our goal is to prepare 250 sandwiches, 200 utensil packets, and handmade place mats to ensure their guests feel welcome and cared for.
This is a perfect family activity—in fact, the kids usually make the best place mats!

Communal art in the “The Way of the Cross; A Passion Pilgrimage Through Song,” is its own art form, which will hopefully result in a more intimate participation in the Sacrament of the Mass. This enables us to live into art in a fuller way. It is my hope that by “participating” in Notre Dame’s production of The Passion throughout Lent, its art will inspire our deeper understanding of and participation in the Sacrament of the Mass and challenge our faith journey throughout our lives. Through this participation, we can more fully be the Body of Christ beyond the Liturgy of the Mass and apply that to others as Christians reaching out to others in our daily lives.
