Dear Friends, Colleagues, Partners, Funders, and Constituents,
We are pleased to share our 2019-2020 Annual Report that highlights the work spearheaded by the CLC locally as well as globally. This year has presented profound challenges on multiple fronts. An unprecedented global pandemic and the rise of
calls for social justice and equity in the United States have shined a new light on the importance of the work we are doing to promote equity both globally and locally.
As we continue to work to build effective leaders, we are also working to transform.

Children at the Rutgers Early Research Academy (ELRA) transition to Remote Learning
03/17/2020
Due to the Corona Virus public health crises and because we are very concerned with the health of all our children, families, the Rutgers Community Leadership Center will close its doors for all programs. Children enrolled in the preschool and infant/toddlers program at ELRA will be engaging in remote instruction guided by our teachers and staff. CLC Administrative Staff will be telecommuting and available from their homes. LEAP Academy will also closed its school effective March 18, 2020 through March 30, 2020. We will be posting notices on our ELRA, LEAP and CLC website for further updates and with information about the possibility of having to extend the closure beyond March 30. We are cancelling all events and ask that you go online for instructions for all our children. We all have the responsibility to avoid the contagious COVID-19. We want to come back to our normal work schedules safe and healthy.
