Today, our scholars returned to kick off the 2026–2027 school year, and the excitement was contagious! Smiles filled the hallways as students reunited with friends, met their teachers, and embarked on a brand-new journey of learning.

This year’s theme is inspired by The Wizard of Oz because “There’s No Place Like Hobbs!” 👠✨

Just like Dorothy discovered, the greatest adventures begin when you’re surrounded by people who care, encourage, and believe in you. At J.E. Hobbs Elementary, we’re ready to travel the Yellow Brick Road together—building knowledge, inspiring courage, fostering kindness, and creating a little magic in every classroom.
