KIPP Cooper Norcross Academy KIPP Cooper Norcross Academy's schools in Camden provide free, excellent education to students K-12.

In 2014, KIPP Cooper Norcross Academy first welcomed Camden students to our campus in Lanning Square and made a commitment to supporting their educational journeys. Today, over 2,000 Camden students are educated in KIPP Cooper Norcross Academy elementary, middle and high schools. Our goal is to eventually enroll more than 3,800 students from across Camden. Community partnership and a commitment to student growth are the cornerstones of our mission. As New Jersey’s first renaissance school, KIPP Cooper Norcross Academy was established under the state’s Urban Hope Act, which created a pilot program to offer students in three under-resourced school districts – Camden, Newark and Trenton – access to new, quality public schools in their communities. The Academy was created in partnership with KIPP, a renowned, national network of free, open-enrollment, college preparatory public charter schools; The Cooper Foundation, the charitable arm of Cooper University Health Care, and the Norcross Foundation.

Only 3 days until ALL KIPP Cooper Norcross students return on August 19! 🎉

Tomorrow, we’ll welcome our Kindergarten, 5th, 9th, and 10th grade students, along with new-to-KIPP K–8 students, before everyone joins us on August 19. We can’t wait to have our hallways full again!

Our 9th graders will kick things off on August 13–14, followed by our Kindergarten, 5th, 9th, and 10th grade students, along with new-to-KIPP K–8 students, on August 17. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back for another great school year!

The countdown is on! 🎉 Just 2 weeks until ALL KIPP Cooper students are back on August 19 for an exciting new school year.

We'll be welcoming our 9th graders on August 13–14, followed by our Kindergarten, 5th, 9th, and 10th graders, along with all new K–8 students, on August 17 before everyone returns on August 19. We can't wait to see you!
