Congratulations to Seniors from Brimm Medical Arts, Camden High School, Creative Arts, and Eastside High School. These outstanding students have been accepted into the Rowan University Rutgers-Camden Joint Board of Governors Certified Medical Assistant Pathways Program. Upon graduation, these students will receive paid training, 1-to-1 mentorship, and full tuition to complete the accelerated Certified Medical Assistant Training Program at Camden County College.
Students officially signed their Letters of Commitment to attend the program during a signing ceremony held at the Camden High Campus.

Please note that all after-school programs, extracurricular activities, and athletic events have been canceled.
Families are encouraged to make any necessary arrangements for early dismissal and to stay safe, stay cool, and stay hydrated throughout the day.

Today, the Camden City School District was honored to welcome New Jersey Commissioner of Education, Dr. Lily Laux, for a visit to Thomas H. Dudley Family School and Octavius V. Catto Family School.
During her visit, Commissioner Laux had the opportunity to meet with student ambassadors, visit classrooms, and see firsthand the engaging teaching and learning taking place across our schools. From literacy instruction to hands-on science learning, our students proudly showcased the incredible work happening every day in Camden classrooms.
A special thank you to the students from Eastside High School’s Broadcast and Journalism program for documenting the visit through photography and media coverage. Their work not only captured memorable moments from the day but also highlighted one of the many outstanding Career and Technical Education opportunities available to our students.
Thank you to our school leaders, staff, students, and families for helping make this visit a success and for continuing to demonstrate the excellence, pride, and potential that exists throughout the Camden City School District.

What an incredible day of competition, sportsmanship, and school spirit at our Middle School Track Meet!
Congratulations to all of our student-athletes who participated and represented their schools with pride, determination, and excellence. Whether on the track or in the field events, every student demonstrated hard work, perseverance, and teamwork.
A special thank you to our coaches, staff, volunteers, and supporters who helped make this event a success. Your dedication to our students continues to create meaningful opportunities for growth both on and off the field.
We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Ms. Nelly Perry for her outstanding leadership and organization in coordinating this event. Her commitment and attention to detail helped ensure a memorable experience for all involved.

Today, Creative Arts High School welcomed students from Forest Hill Elementary School for its annual Art Stroll, providing an engaging and inspiring celebration of the arts.
Forest Hill students had the opportunity to peruse a diverse collection of artwork created by Creative Arts High School students and learn more about the creative process behind each piece. The experience also included hands-on art demonstrations, a history of art session in the Black Box Theater, mini vocal and instrumental performances, and opportunities to interact with our talented visual art students.
The Art Stroll highlighted the creativity, talent, and hard work of our students while giving younger learners a firsthand look at the many artistic opportunities available at Creative Arts High School.

Congratulations to the teams at Thomas H. Dudley Family School and Octavius V. Catto Family School for being recognized by Children's Hospital of Philadelphia through the Youth Heart Watch Heart Safe School Program!
A special congratulations to Principal Ruiz, Nurse Denz, and Dudley School's Code Blue Team for earning the Heart Safe School Award, and to Principal Dixon, Nurse Paoli, and Catto School's Code Blue Team for their outstanding achievement as a close second.
These recognitions reflect the dedication, preparation, and teamwork that help keep our students and staff safe every day. Life-saving skills matter, and as the saying goes, you react the way you practice.
