Sunday at Stable View 🏆

Dublin Down and Addison Leach stepped up from Saturday to take Champion in the Short Stirrup Hunters with good ribbons in the equitation as well. Thank you again to Katrina Hutto and her Tally Ho Equestrian Center family for helping and cheering her on!

Brittany’s Firedrake took on Sunday just like he left Saturday and was Champion in the Limit Hunters taking the top honor all weekend!

So proud of them for going on the road without me and being able to stay on top!

It’s a beautiful morning at Stable View. While Addison isn’t doing the derby this morning, she took the opportunity to walk the course with Tally Ho Equestrian Center. Every opportunity to learn is an opportunity to gain more knowledge and grow as a rider. Even just on the ground!

Sending two horses and riders to a show definitely doesn’t mean volume = success.

Addison Leach and her Dublin Down earned Reserve Champion in both the Short Stirrup Equitation and Hunters today with nothing less than second over fences all day!

The undeniable Firedrake won both of his Limit Hunter over fences to take the top tricolor with Brittany 💙❤️💛

Hoping for a dry day tomorrow with much more success! Very proud of these pairs and will be happy to have them back home.

Just the pair of Firedrake and Dublin Down to Stableview this weekend. Wrist surgery Monday won’t keep me down, but I’m sitting this one out.

Thank you to Tally Ho Equestrian Center for schooling Addison. We’re still looking forward to bringing home multiple tricolors!

Good luck and have fun with two of the best boys!

We were excited to welcome seven Boy Scouts from Troop 303 as they worked toward earning their Horsemanship Merit Badge. These young men dove right in and impressed us with their enthusiasm, curiosity, and willingness to learn.

Throughout the day they learned how to:

🐎 Groom a horse
🧹 Pick out hooves
🏇 Tack up correctly
🚶 Walk, trot, and halt
🪜 Mount and dismount safely

They also spent time learning about horse colors, tack and its purpose, parts of the horse, basic equine health and common illnesses, and proper horse care.

We couldn't have been more impressed with how engaged, respectful, and hardworking this group was. Best of all, a few of them are already talking about coming back for regular riding lessons—and we would love to have them!

Thank you, Troop 303, for spending the day with us. We can't wait to welcome eight more Scouts on Friday for another great day of learning and horsemanship!

☀️ As summer camp comes to a close, we're getting ready for one of our favorite seasons at Springdale Stables! 🍂🐴

With school starting back soon, our regular lesson schedule is resuming, and spots are already filling up.

Whether you're a returning rider or ready to start your riding journey, now is the perfect time to reserve your lesson time before the schedule fills. While the weather is hot we can schedule morning lessons and as school starts and it cools down, make a transition to after school spots.
