🇨🇿 CZ Vz. 75 All Steel 90’s Model

This military surplus 1990s dated CZ 75 is such an awesome look back at what this model was compared to what we know today. The steel frame and steel slide Cz 75 has a place in history, as it’s known as one of the great wonder nines of the era. Its smooth aesthetics and low profile slide enhances the firers ability to manage recoil better. Due to restrictions on combloc nations back then, the Cz 75 was not as well known in NATO aligned countries until now.

💥 Springfield Trapdoor M1888 vs Torso Target at 40 yards

Using Steinel Am******on Co. Buffalo load at 40 yards, we are printing holes in that target. One thing to take note of is that the Springfield Trapdoor r***e shoots really high at close range. A belt line hold should be used.

🇮🇹 Carcano M91/38 Fucile Corto… What’s it known for?

The Italian military originally developed this Carcano design in the 7.35x51mm cartridge but due to logistical constraints during ongoing combat operations, they produced one in 6.5x52mm. This model would be designated as the M91/38.

What’s it most known for?

- it was an Italian infantry r***e used during World War Two

- some US military personnel brought these back to the US during the war

- many hit the surplus market in the 1960’s

- it is the Carcano model that would be famous for its use in the traumatic event involving President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963

- they were mistakenly known to be “inaccurate junk” and the myth spread like wildfire after the event above

- it was featured in the Red Dead Redemption video games, depicted with some historical inaccuracies such as a scope

What comes to mind first when you see a Carcano M91/38 Short R***e?

This Might Be My Best Deer R***e, According to the Stats

Last year I got a really fancy r***e, a SCAR 17 S. This is the civilian version, but the version developed for the United States Special Operations Command would be tested in the arid mountains of Afghanistan and by other military’s across the globe. The FN SCAR would be well known because of video games, being pkaced in some major titles like Call of Duty®.

I think the SCAR17S in .308 can be a multipurpose r***e, and has so many advantages over other r***es in my collection for deer hunting. Right now I only have iron sites, but perhaps I may try and set it up at a later time for Hunting use. For right now, though I am pretty proficient with iron sites and engagement distances are about under 100 yards in my area.

🦌 The M1 Carbine for Deer Hunting?

Some years ago, I went deer hunting with a M1 carbine and had a successful hunt. The pros of using a M1 carving for deer hunting is that you get a really light weight r***e in a caliber that is suitable for Deers at close engagements. So it would be great if for maneuvering around thick brush or on being on the move in general. However, it might not be suitable for further distances

Springfield Trapdoor With Two Unit Markings

This antique Trapdoor Model 1888 is pretty rough looking so it must’ve seen something. It has deep pits all around the exterior metal, which could mean some kind of service in a very humid environment. Contrary to that, somebody could have just stored it and never cleaned it within the last hundred years. Another telltale sign of hard military use could be the chipped wood near the buttock… or it could just be someone that used it for Hunting quite often. The features that stand out, which show that it was used in some capacity within the US military, are the two different unit markings. One appeared to have been painted on the side of the buttock, “6 L 81” but was cleaned off. The other marking is ingrained in the wood on the top of the buttock, “2 D 17”. Definitely going to have to find more historical information on this one.

Was it used in Cuba during the Spanish-American War? Or maybe the Phillipines during the Phillipine Insurrection? Chances are high that it was stored improperly in the possession of its previous owner.

🇪🇸 STAR Model 30M Functions and Firing 💥

The STAR Model 30M is a Spanish designed full-sized side arm for police and military. It has some unique features and functionality which are demonstrated on this video. Many of these, like This one, served with the prestigious Guardia Civil in Spain. We’ve recently seen them here in the US as military/police surplus. They are historically significant, just not very well known, and I find it quite pleasant to shoot.

🇩🇪 HK USP 40 Something about the Sound of It 🫤

The USP would be known for its durability and reliability, especially for a 1990s polymer frame side arm. It features a de-cocker and a proprietary attachment rail in a double action/single action 40 caliber setup. Because it was an early polymer frame pistol though, it doesn’t sound very appealing when you’re going through all the functions. This could be a turn off for somebody who’s used to having a side arm that sounds more rugged with all steel components. With this USP, you can definitely hear a plastic echo.

Either way, it’s German engineered, which most people associate with being of high quality. Other than that, it’s well known for its use in the movie Tomb Raider and the video game Counterstrike.

Česká zbrojovka (CZ) Vz. 82 😎🔥

The Pistole vz. 82 (model 82) was designed in 1982 by chief engineer Augustin Nečas for the Czechoslovak military. It was produced by Česká zbrojovka (CZ) from 1983 to 1992. While it didn’t see use in major conflicts during that time, it saw some use in the initial stages of the Iraq and Afghanistan war with Czech Soldiers as part of the coalition forces. More recently, many were sent as aide for Ukraine in support of the Russo-Ukraine conflict.
