JUNIOR CHEFS FREE SUMMER CAMP COOKING CLASSES

Humanity’s Kitchen offers In Person classes in New Castle County and Virtual classes in Kent/Sussex County, Monday through Friday, 5:30pm to 8:30 pm.

The purpose of this program is to provide opportunities for students with disabilities, finishing 8th grade and in grades 9-11, ages 14 to 22 or those that are in the 18-22 Educational Program, to engage in career exploration in the culinary arts field during summer vacation from school.

The program is offered at no cost to students in New Castle, Kent, and Sussex Counties.

2026 Class Schedule
- Class 1) June 15th - July 3rd
- Class 2) July 6th - July 24th
- Class 3) July 27th - August 14th

Every year each school in the district is giving the opportunity to highlight their students' artwork in the District Office . This week the John S. Charlton art display was put up. The art represents the hardwork and creativity of all our students.

The CR Countywide Programs honored 2 of our beloved Paraprofessionals as they start a new chapter in retirement. They have served the students, families and staff of the district in extraordinary ways. We wish them each our best wishes and will miss their smiling faces.
