A Bittersweet Farewell…
Today, we proudly celebrated the final 8th Grade Promotional Exercise at Morgan Village Middle School — home of generations of learners, leaders, and legacy-makers.

Though our time as MVMS will soon end, the memories, the friendships, and the foundation built here will live on in every student who crossed that stage today.

Monday, June 23 and Tuesday, June 24 will be half days for all Camden City School District schools.

For all schools except the Camden High Campus, the last day of school is Monday, June 23.

For the Camden High Campus, the last day of school is Tuesday, June 24.

Open to current and incoming CCSD students only.

Throughout the school year boatworks met once a week after school to build a canoe. On Saturday, students attended the 2025 boat launch at Cooper River Yacht Club.

Yesterday, MVMS hosted High School Selection Day for 8th grade students who have been accepted to one of the District’s magnet high schools.

Student Success Spotlight at Morgan Village Middle!

This March, our students were challenged to meet their annual growth goals by staying on track with their individualized online learning platforms — completing at least two lessons per week!

We’re proud to celebrate the classrooms with the highest passing rates:
-Ms. Laksh's Algebra I class – 52% of students stayed on track all month!
-Ms. Haywood's English class – 36% of students stayed on track all month!

To recognize their dedication and commitment, both classes enjoyed a special celebratory luncheon!

Congratulations to all students and staff who participated and worked hard to stay on track! Keep pushing toward your goals — we’re proud of you!
