Success Academy, Camden Success Academy is a 5-star Child Development Center located in Camden, County NC. We are a 5 star center…..so what exactly does this mean?

The North Carolina Division of Child Development instituted the star-rated licensing program as a way to offer parents more information on the quality of available child-care options. All licensed child-care centers receive a star rating, with one star being the minimum. We obtained the maximum, which means that we have voluntarily met higher standards for program quality and staff education.

🍎Fall Learning Fun at Success Academy! 🍁

Our classrooms have been busy learning and exploring all things fall! This week, our children have been learning about Johnny Appleseed, the changing season, and the important community helpers who make a difference in our neighborhoods. 🚒👮‍♀️🩺👩‍🌾

Our classes explored different types of apples, tasted their favorites and created an apple chart to see which variety was the classroom favorite. What a fun way to practice counting, comparing, making choices and learning together.

Our classrooms are welcoming fall with lots of hands-on learning conversations and fun!

Last week, we had some very special visitors at Success Academy! Camden County Deputy Carawan and his K-9 partner, Sparrow, stopped by to visit our center.

Our children were so excited to meet Sparrow and learn more about the important job our officers and their K-9 partners do in our community. We are so thankful for our local law enforcement and the time they took to spend with our children! ❤️

Thank you, Camden County Sheriff's Office for visiting Success Academy!

Our preschool teachers worked hard getting their classrooms ready-planning, organizing, decorating, and creating fun learning spaces for our little ones!

And once those doors opened and the children arrived...we've been busy, busy, busy! From learning and exploring, to playing, creating, and making new friends, our classrooms have been filled with lots of smiles, laughter, and learning!

We are excited for all the wonderful memories and learning adventures this school year will bring!

Ms. Megan and Ms. Gabby's class had an exciting week learning all about Summer Olympics! Our little athletes showed great teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship as they competed in a variety of fun Olympic-inspired events.

From conquering an obstacle course, balancing through an egg race, testing their aim with a bean bag toss, gliding in our paper plate "ice skating," and racing to the finish line, every child gave it their all and had so much fun!

To top off an amazing week, everyone cooled down with a fun-filled Water Day!

Ahoy, mateys!
Our pirate-themed week got even more special when Ms. Megan's grandma stopped by to spend time with our little pirates! She shared wonderful stories, sang fun songs, and helped create lasting memories for the children.

We love when family members visit and share their time and talents with our classrooms. Thank you, Grandma, for making our pirate adventure extra special!
