Volunteer opportunities are already popping up across our schools!

If you haven’t yet completed your New Volunteer Information Form for this school year, now is the perfect time to do it!

Completing your form gets you ready to jump in when opportunities come your way—including:

Helping at school events and activities
Supporting classrooms and teachers
Chaperoning field trips
Connecting with students and staff
Discovering all the great things happening in our schools!

For many years, Mr. F has been an important part of our STEAM program, inspiring students by sharing his talents, experience, and love of learning!

🎶🛠️ Creativity was spinning in full force thanks to the amazing Mr. F! 💙 Our K–5 students recently had the opportunity to learn, build, and create alongside one of our incredible community partners. Using recycled records and all kinds of unique treasures, students explored the history of music while designing meaningful Mother’s Day gifts for the special people in their lives. 💐🎁

From hanging flower pots and trays to jewelry holders and other one-of-a-kind creations, every project was filled with imagination and heart. Students loved heating and molding records into something brand new while also learning about music history through records, cassettes, CDs, music boxes, and more! 🎵💿

Mr. F’s “out-of-the-box” inventions and hands-on learning experiences make each visit unforgettable. Thank you for sharing your creativity, knowledge, and passion with our students! ✨

⚠️ Due to forecasted inclement weather and dangerous windchills, Cambridge-Isanti Schools will have an eLearning Day tomorrow, January 23, 2026. Please see below for important details regarding this unique storm and eLearning Day plan.

For the afternoon and evening of Thursday, January 22:
❄Some activities and event schedules have been adjusted. Families and participants should expect direct communication from program directors, instructors, or coaches with specific details.
❄All scheduled school conferences will continue as planned.
❄Community Education programs and activities will communicate directly with registered participants regarding any changes.

For tomorrow, Friday, January 23:
❄All schools will have an eLearning Day.
❄Preschool classes can expect to receive eLearning information from teachers via SeeSaw.
❄Adventure Center will be closed.

For the afternoon and evening of Friday, January 23:
❄We will continue to monitor weather conditions through the evening and into the morning. Families and participants can expect updates from program directors, instructors, or coaches no later than 10 am tomorrow, Friday, January 23.

Come out to the Cambridge OR Isanti McDonald's on Tuesday, January 20th, 4:00PM-7:00PM to support Cambridge-Isanti School District Staff!

Order inside, in the drive thru, with our app or delivery to help donate. 20% of all sales made from 4:00PM-7:00PM will be donated to the staff appreciation fund! In addition, 100% of the proceeds from any cookies purchased from a volunteer during the event are included in the final total* (*cookie sales are cash only, and must be purchased from a volunteer from the school to be counted).

Funds from this event will be used for staff appreciation across the Cambridge-Isanti School District. We'll see you there!
