Welcome back to all of our students! This page has been quiet for the past few months but I am happy to announce that this will no longer be case. We will be making weekly posts about Lesley events, events around the Boston area and other important notices.

Lesley Events:
- Lesley is co-sponsoring Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo; a virtual festival showcasing the best in new and local comics with multiple live online programs with panel discussions, live drawing games, cartooning workshops, and professional development webinars for comic creators. The expo rungs throughout the month of October, and while it is free it does require registration.

Hello Lesley community,

The past several weeks have been immensely challenging and have reminded us of how unjust our society can be. The Global Education Center has been devastated by the recent deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and other members of the black community and we strongly condemn these horrific instances of racism. Clearly stated, black lives matter, and the Global Education Center stands with and supports our black community. We must all continue to do better to seek equality for all. We are striving to be better allies and we are listening to you. We must work together to create the systematic change that we want in our community and our world, and we hope that you will join us. Please continue to support every person with empathy, thoughtfulness, and compassion, and stay safe during these challenging times.

As global educators, we are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and our aim is to cultivate diverse experiences for our students. The Global Education Center will continue to provide a platform and a space for students to come together to achieve this aim. To this end, we are hosting a support group session, moderated by Tracy Greenfield of the Counseling Center on Thursday, June 11 at 11:00 AM. Please email [email protected] for the zoom link.
